Temple Square

Every year we have the tradition of going to see the Christmas lights at Temple Square with Drew's family. This year we were all star struck when saw Mitt and Ann Romney in the underground tunnels of the church office building. It was a fun experience! It was a fun evening with family and beautiful evening with the lights around Temple Square as the snow fell.

Even though taking pictures of baby bumps is one of my biggest pet peeves..I decided to take a few and show the bump off because of how many people were insisting I posted a picture. Drew and I had fun taking a few pictures and goofing off while doing it. It is fun feeling her kick and we can even see her moving around in my tummy. I am getting nervous as the day gets closer and closer, but we are also getting more and more excited as the days go by.

It's a girl!

Today we had the advantage of finding out early what our little one is going to be! It is for sure a girl! Andrew was completely shocked because he thought it was for sure a boy. He is very excited to have a little girl and have her be daddy's little girl. We weren't supposed to find out until November 8th, but our doctor said she could give us a "guess" as to what it would be. She apparently could get in trouble for telling us before we had our appointment in November. She gave us the guess that it was a girl. To make sure that is was a girl, we had one of our dear friend that works at a fetal photo store tell us the for sure result! The baby was very lady like and had her legs crossed the whole time which made it hard for us to tell. Eventually, our friend got the baby to uncross its legs and of course it is 100% a baby girl! Drew had a few moments where he almost jumped out of his chair because he thought he saw something between the babies legs. Maybe a boy will be the next baby, but for now we couldn't be more thrilled! Bring on the pink!

We are gonna be parents!

Mommy and Daddy? I am sure that everyone by now knows that we are going to be having a baby! My due date is April 1st. April fools seems like a perfect day for a child of Andrew to be born huh? We are so excited to be having a little body running around. There are so many new and exciting things coming our way and we couldnt be happier. But, YIKES! We are going to be parents! Other than that new and exciting news, Drew and I just got back from a vacation in St. George with my family. We enjoyed living in a big house with a big family for a week. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool, squeezing in pedicures, celebrating birthdays, having some of us riding in the sand dunes and of course enjoying our family.

Happy Birthday Dad, Rayna and Kalie!

My nephew Bronson loved Drew all because he took him a candy store.

All the nieces and nephews wanted to do what Uncle Drew wanted to do.

My nephew found this massive turtle by the house. Thought it was fun!

Well, this past week has been a week of major decision making. Andrew has decided to go to school full time instead of part time. Doing this Drew will be way more than half way done with college and one step closer to getting that degree! We have found it to be best that he quit his current job that he hates to walk away from and move forward with getting his schooling done and over with! Lately things have just been falling together and it is amazing to watch and know that all of this is in Heavenly Fathers hands. Of course we still have those little hiccups here and there, but we have learned from them and move on. We have been receiving amazing and life changing news left and right! We have had amazing friends leading us through a lot of our decision making and life changing events. We feel so blessed to have them in our lives. I have started taking pictures and trying to start a little photography business (slow, but surely), but I need a few people who are interested in my taking pictures of their kiddos or family pictures. So, if anyone knows anyone that would love that...send them my way! I am still getting used to this whole blogging thing, so my posts may be short, sweet and to the point. We are so excited to share what is going on with us in the next few months and post pictures as well! That is all for now.

Life and all that comes with it

Well, I created this blog and I intend to use it! So, here I am! This past week Drew and I took a little vacation to Lititz, Pennsylvania. Lititz is my hometown and we will be flying back to Utah shortly. I sure do miss it here! Coming back to my old stomping grounds makes me realize how truly grateful I am for my family. My parents are so giving and kind to others. Everyone they go around just loves them. I look at them and see how they tease eachother and then I look Drew...I am so glad that I have him by my side for eternity to be my best friend and so much more! I am a baby of nine (if any of you care to know) and I am so proud to be a baby of nine! We are all such best friends and so many memories that come with that friendship. Also, it is amazing to me to be on the other side of the country and go to church out here and see that it is the exact same as it is on the other side of the country in Utah. I have such a great support system with my own family, Drew's wonderful family and my ward family. Life has a lot of up's and down's and it also has a lot of people that sometimes can have a misunderstanding with you, and make your life down right miserable at times, but really, why let them? Are they honestly worth anything to you compared to your family? No. It is as simple as that. Drew and I have finally come to that understanding. The small, but yet exciting life that Drew and I share together will become something big, and even more exciting in the near future! Stay tuned.....
